What We Do
For the most part, our law practice falls into two categories. The first is asset protection. A complicated issue, it involves trusts, wills, estate planning and probate.
Let’s Talk About These Terms for Just a Minute:
- Estate Planning plots out the disposal of an estate in anticipation of a person’s expiration. The purpose of estate planning is to limit or eliminate uncertainties upon the demise of the person in question.
- Probate is the legal process of going through the will of a deceased person in order to administer his or her will.
- Trusts refer to arrangements in which property of any kind is held onto by one person for another in anticipation of transfer at the proper time.
- Wills are legal declarative documents in which a person’s wishes regarding the disposal and care of their estate are laid out.
In addition to asset protection, we also handle businesses who wish to incorporate or otherwise become legal entities. The process can be confusing, especially where taxes are concerned but through our experience and expertise, we will guide you through the process pain-free.
